Topstep Labs Drop #007: $1.5K Challenge Powered Up at $99

October 9 2026 prop firm check covering Topstep Labs Drop 007 Powered Up pricing and rulesProp Firm News

This is a 9 October 2026 promo and rule check for FindBestProp. It follows the 8 October MyFundedStudio and FundedNext note. The page marked Updated today is the Topstep Labs help article. The risk-adjustments article carries the same stamp.

Shortlist the account on the comparator at findbestprop.com before you pay. Topstep is in that comparator. Tradeify, Apex, Lucid, and Alpha Futures are still outside it. Checkout is always the firm’s own cart. Review buttons on FindBestProp keep the stored partner link.

Drop #007 is the $1.5K Challenge, with more size

Topstep did not publish a Combine coupon. topstep.com/labs was last published 8 October 2026, 14:01 UTC. The hero is Drop #007: “Take The $1.5K Challenge. Make $1,500. Do It Again. Keep $1,500.” Entry is $99 one-time. The card prints 2 minis / 20 micros, fail at -$500, pass at $1,500, no profit splits, no daily loss limit, no scaling plan, no consistency target, and no minimum days. Max 5 accounts per user.

The help article now lists the drop:

DropNameLaunch
#004$1.5K ChallengeSeptember 2026
#006$50K Static Drawdown Trading CombineOctober 2026
#007$1.5K Challenge - Powered UpOctober 2026

The Powered Up section says traders called 2 micros too small, so this version has 10x the buying power: up to 2 minis / 20 micros. The price is $99. The September version was $39. The profit target and the one-time payout stay $1,500.

Activation of the Payout Round is free. The FAQ says the dashboard can take up to 15 minutes after you pass the Challenge Round before that account is ready. There is no path to a Live Funded Account. The reward is the one-time $1,500, then the account closes. You can buy up to 5 per trader, first come, first served. The Responsible Trading discount does not apply. There are no rebills and no resets.

The catalog card is Labs Drop #007 $1.5K Powered Up at $99. The $1,500 label is the challenge name. The help table starts both rounds at $0. Labs $50K Static stays $149. Labs $6K Challenge stays $149. Standard Path $50K stays $49 a month. Do not paste a coupon on Drop #007. There is not one.

The product cap and the risk page do not use the same sentence

The parameter table caps size at 2 minis / 20 micros. The same help article’s FAQ then says, “beyond the 2/20 limit,” traders can trade up to 12 contracts of MCL/MGC, 1 contract of CL, GC, HO, QM, RB, MHG, SIL, and 0 of HG, PL, SI.

The risk-adjustments article, also marked Updated today, prints that same Powered Up line. It still keeps a separate line for the older $1.5K Challenge: no MHG, MET, MBT, or SIL, MGC/MCL limited to 1, and CPI trading restricted to 0. The Powered Up bullet does not repeat the CPI line.

Twelve micro gold or crude contracts sit inside a 20-micro cap. One mini of crude or gold sits inside a 2-mini cap. The FAQ’s “beyond the 2/20 limit” wording does not, by itself, raise the parameter-table cap. Use the live platform limit. This note does not pick a winner between the two sentences.

Rechecks that did not move the catalog

These official pages were opened on 9 October. None of them replaced a stored code.

  • FundedNext. The Stellar October Starter article says Updated over a week ago. Schema dateModified is still 1 October 2026. STOCT is unchanged: Stellar 2-Step 6K $59.99 to $34.99 global, Stellar 1-Step 6K $65.99 to $44.99, Stellar Lite 5K $32.99 to $29.99, and Stellar Instant 2K $59.99 to $49.99. Do not paste STOCT on Futures Flex 50K. That card stays FNFLEX. Labs still marks CFDs-FNL:001, CFDs-FNL:002, and Futures-FNL:003 Expired.
  • E8 Markets. E8ARC is still 30% on Classic and 50% on perpetual Pro and One, through 25 October. The article says Updated this week, not today. Compare E8 One Forex $100K. Do not stack E8ARC with E8 or AAC4098A.
  • FTMO. Still 20% off the $100K 1-Step, no coupon box. Schema dateModified is still 22 September 2026. Stored 1-Step Standard $100K stays €499.
  • AquaFunded. Still Autumn Sale 25% OFF, no code, and $283 for a $100k account. Compare Futures One Step Flex $100K. BACK2WORK and k22 stay as stored.
  • BrightFunded. Still RALLY30, RALLY25, and RALLY15. Compare 1-Step $5K. Do not stack them.
  • FXIFY. The homepage still advertises 2 Phase Pro with static drawdown. The launch post is dated 29 April 2026, so it is not a new drop. ONESTEP35 and partner FINDBESTPROP stay as stored. Checkout stays on the FXIFY partner link.
  • Apex. The coupon page still says up to 92% off and still names SAVENOW for new signups only. Resets and PA fees stay excluded. dateModified is still 17 July 2026. Not in the comparator.
  • Lucid. The homepage did not print a coupon. Not in the comparator.
  • Alpha Futures, not Alpha Capital. The discount page title names ALPHA40 and ALPHA50 and still says Last updated 6 October 2026. The body did not print a percent. Standard still says 50% off with TRADINGVIEW and $129 a month on the 50K eval. Not added.
  • Tradeify. Still $359 → $251 on the 25K evaluation and the $1,000,000 league. No coupon string on the homepage. Not added.

Funding Pips did not return a page on this fetch, so that catalog row was left alone.

How to use today’s check

Pick the account before you pay (comparison guide). Catalog codes live on All Discount Codes. Review pages keep only the two most recent notes for that firm. The Topstep note is the one that lands on a review.

  1. Open Labs Drop #007 $1.5K Powered Up. The fee is $99. Budget two $1,500 targets for one $1,500 payout, then the account closes.
  2. Treat 2 minis / 20 micros as the parameter-table cap. Read the risk article before you size MCL, MGC, or the metals and energies it names.
  3. Do not look for a Topstep coupon. The Responsible Trading discount does not apply to this drop. Standard Path $50K is a different product.
  4. On FundedNext, keep STOCT on the four starter plans. Open Stellar 2-Step 6K or Futures Flex 50K and use the code for that account.
  5. If the cart total does not match the help table, the drop is gone or the price moved. Pay the live total or leave.
