FundedNext cuts the Stellar Lite day count
FundedNext edited the Stellar Lite account article. On this check the help center prints Updated today. Schema dateModified is 13 October 2026, 08:09 UTC. The minimum trading days article prints the same label, with dateModified 13 October 2026, 09:10 UTC.
The cutoff is 12 October 2026. It covers purchases and resets.
| Rule | On or after 12 October 2026 | Before 12 October 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Challenge days | 2 calendar days per phase, at least one trade each day | 5 trading days per phase |
| Funded cycle, standard option | 10 business days, then another 10 | First payout after 21 days, then every 14 days |
| Reward share on that cycle | 80% | The older 21/14 path |
| 3-day payout | Unchanged. 60%. Still 5 minimum days on every account | Same |
| On-demand payout | Unchanged. 90%. Best day at most 40% of total profit. Still 5 minimum days | Same |
Phase targets are still 8% then 4%. Daily loss is still 4% of the starting balance. Maximum loss is still 8%. There is still no time limit. The funded account still has no day minimum. The payout option is chosen at checkout and cannot be changed later.
The help page also prints approximate list fees. FindBestProp did not overwrite stored rows with that list. Stellar Lite 5K stays $24.74 in the comparator. Lite 10K stays $44.99, Lite 25K stays $104.99, and Lite 50K stays $172.49. Lite 100K stays $399.99 and Lite 200K stays $798.99, which match the help-page list. The page calls those figures approximate and says promos can move the cart.
Why this matters if you trade the news
Two days is a counting rule, not a profit cap. A new Lite 5K can clear the day minimum in a CPI session and the session after it. The 8% target can therefore sit in two days. If you picked the on-demand payout, the best day still cannot exceed 40% of total profit, and that option still wants 5 days. The 10-day cycle is the other path: you wait out the cycle even after the challenge days are done. Losses inside FundedNext’s news window still count in full. On a funded Stellar account, trades opened or closed within 5 minutes of a high-impact release keep only 40% of the profit.
STRTN did not move
The October Returns article prints Updated yesterday. Schema dateModified is still 12 October 2026, 07:00 UTC. Ongoing Offers still lists that article. STOCT is not in the collection. The code page is FundedNext STRTN.
Swipe sideways to see every column.
| Plan | Global list | Global with STRTN | USA list | USA with STRTN |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stellar Lite 5K | $32.99 | $29.99 | $32.99 | $29.99 |
| Stellar 2-Step 6K | $59.99 | $39.99 | $49.99 | $39.99 |
| Stellar 1-Step 6K | $65.99 | $49.99 | $55.99 | $49.99 |
| Stellar Instant 2K | $59.99 | $49.99 | $59.99 | $49.99 |
STRTN still starts 12 October 2026, 1:00 PM (GMT+6), still has no printed end date, and still caps at 5 uses. It still does not apply to resets. It still does not cover Lite sizes above 5K. Stellar 2-Step 100K stays on the stored fee. Partner FINDBESTPR stays 7% and is the weaker cut on the four STRTN rows. Do not stack STRTN and FINDBESTPR. Affiliate checkout stays on the FundedNext partner link.
Topstep’s CPI window is on the risk page
Topstep marked the risk-adjustments article Updated today. CPI is one of the Tier 1 examples, listed at 7:30 a.m. CT. The blocked window is 7:25 to 7:35 a.m. CT. The same 10-minute shape is printed for FOMC and nonfarm payrolls.
| Book | Equity minis in the window | Micros in the window |
|---|---|---|
| 3K Challenge | No trading | Blocked |
| $25K | Blocked | 1 |
| $50K | Blocked | 3 |
| $100K | Blocked | 6 |
| $150K | Blocked | 9 |
| $250K | Blocked | 15 |
| $50K Static | Blocked | 2 |
Minis named in that block are ES, RTY, YM, NQ, NKD, plus GC, SI, HG, and PL. Micros named are MES, M2K, MYM, MNQ, MGC, SIL, and MHG. Pending orders are not open positions. They do not fill in the window, and a new pending order aimed at the window cannot be placed. A metals position already open before 7:25 a.m. CT can stay open. Energies, rates, and FX are listed as unaffected.
That is a size limit for ten minutes, not a new combine. Labs Drop #007 is still the first card on topstep.com/labs. There is no Drop #008 on that page. The Labs help article prints Updated this week, not today. There is still no public coupon. Affiliate buttons stay on the Topstep link.
A stop on a mini that would have executed inside 7:25–7:35 a.m. CT will not. If the plan needs to be in ES or NQ through the print, the live text only allows the micro cap for that account size.
